Our location near the Port of Koper brings significant advantages for your business: **Shorter transit times**: Cargo from Asia arrives in Koper 4-5 days earlier than in Northern European ports. This means faster delivery and lower storage costs. **Rail connection**: Direct rail links to Central Europe enable environmentally friendly and cost-effective transport inland. **Less congestion**: Koper has lower traffic volume than Rotterdam or Hamburg, meaning less waiting and faster customs clearance. **Strategic location**: Ideal starting point for Southeastern European countries, Austria, Hungary, and all Balkan states. **Our proximity**: We're just minutes from the port, enabling quick response and personal presence for critical shipments.

FAQ

What's the difference between a freight forwarder and a carrier?

A carrier is a company that physically transports goods - they own trucks, ships, or aircraft. A freight forwarder is a transport organizer who selects the best carrier on your behalf, handles documentation, customs clearance, and coordinates the entire process. A forwarder is your logistics partner connecting all links in the chain from sender to recipient.

What documents do I need for exporting goods?

Basic export documents include: commercial invoice, packing list, transport document (CMR for road, B/L for sea, AWB for air transport), and export customs declaration. Depending on destination and cargo type, you may also need: certificate of origin (EUR.1 or Form A), health certificate, phytosanitary certificate, export permits for specific goods. Our experts will tell you exactly what you need.

How long does transport from China to Europe take?

Transit times from China vary by transport mode: sea transport takes 25-35 days (longer with transshipment), rail transport 14-18 days, air transport 3-5 days, multimodal (ship + train) 20-25 days. Times may extend due to customs clearance, holidays, or unforeseen events. We always provide realistic timeframes considering all factors.

Can you organize transport for small shipments?

Absolutely. For smaller shipments that don't fill an entire container or truck, we offer consolidated transport (LCL - Less than Container Load for sea freight, groupage for road transport). Your cargo is combined with shipments from other clients, significantly reducing costs. Minimum quantity for sea freight is just 1 cubic meter (CBM).

How do you handle urgent shipments?

For urgent shipments, we have expedited procedures in place: priority inquiry handling (response within 1 hour), access to airline capacity even for last-minute bookings, accelerated customs clearance through our broker network, same-day delivery options within Slovenia. We also offer courier services for smaller, extremely urgent shipments.

What goods don't you transport?

There are certain restrictions on cargo we can transport: illegal drugs and prohibited substances, weapons without proper permits, counterfeit goods, goods under international sanctions, certain types of hazardous materials without proper documentation. For hazardous goods (ADR), we have all necessary certificates, but we need to know in advance what we're dealing with. If in doubt, always consult with us.
