1. PREPARATION (before the vessel arrives) We take your invoice, packing list and B/L, and check them for gaps while there is still time to fix them. 2. VESSEL ARRIVAL (day X) We track the arrival and the discharge, and pick up the availability notice. 3. FILING (2–4 hours) The declaration goes in electronically. Our AEO status puts it in the priority queue. 4. PROCESSING Customs reviews it. Most consignments are released without inspection; if one is selected, we coordinate it. 5. PAYMENT AND RELEASE We pay the duty and VAT on your behalf and the goods enter free circulation. 6. COLLECTION We pull the container from the terminal and deliver it to you or to our warehouse.
