Shorter transit: cargo from Asia reaches Koper four to five days before the northern ports, which cuts storage too. Rail inland: direct services into Central Europe, cheaper and cleaner than trucking. Less congestion: smaller throughput than Rotterdam or Hamburg means less waiting and faster clearance. Position: the natural entry point for Austria, Hungary, the Balkans and south-east Europe. Proximity: we are minutes away, so someone can be on the quay when a shipment needs it.

A carrier owns the trucks, ships or aircraft and moves the goods. A forwarder organises the move: choosing the carrier, handling documents and customs, and coordinating everyone from sender to consignee.
Commercial invoice, packing list, transport document (CMR by road, B/L by sea, AWB by air) and the export declaration. Depending on the destination and the goods you may also need a certificate of origin (EUR.1 or Form A), a health or phytosanitary certificate, or an export licence. By sea 25–35 days, longer with transshipment; by rail 14–18; by air 3–5; multimodal 20–25. Customs, holidays and port congestion can extend any of them, so we quote realistic dates rather than best cases.
Yes. Below a full container or truck we use consolidated transport — LCL by sea, groupage by road — so your cargo shares space and cost with other shipments. The sea minimum is about 1 CBM.
Priority handling with a reply inside an hour, airline capacity even at short notice, accelerated clearance through our own brokers, and same-day delivery within Slovenia. For small, extremely urgent items we also use courier.
Illegal drugs, weapons without permits, counterfeits and goods under international sanctions. Dangerous goods (ADR) we do carry — we hold the certificates for every class — but we need to know what it is before it moves. If you are unsure, ask us first.
